I’m Ceci — mom, rebel entrepreneur, homesteader, and the founder of Badass Boss.

Back in 2013, I opened the doors to my salon. What started as a dream quickly became a multi–six-figure business that thrived for more than a decade. I built a team, created a loyal client base, and poured my heart into growing something that gave me so much pride.

By 2016, I had also launched Badass Boss Coaching — a brand dedicated to helping small business owners and entrepreneurs grow with grit, strategy, and authenticity. I loved showing others how to create income streams that fit who they are instead of forcing themselves into cookie-cutter formulas.

But after 11 years in the salon industry, something shifted. By 2024, I realized I wanted more than constant hustle, endless to-do lists, and a definition of “success” that never actually felt like freedom. So, I made one of the boldest moves of my life: I walked away.

Now, my days look totally different — and that’s exactly the point. I homeschool my kids. I wrangle chickens. I bake bread, grow food, and build digital products from my kitchen table. I spend my days living authentically instead of grinding away at someone else’s idea of success.

Here’s the truth: I didn’t burn it all down. I built something incredible, and then I chose to walk away. And that choice has given me the chance to live on my terms, doing work that lights me up and building income that doesn’t cost me my peace.
